I saw PIL open for INXS several years ago and when they were about to close with Rise, Lydon told the crowd enjoy this song because you're about to listen to shit for three hours. If McBean were only a bigger ass he could make the same accurate statement.

Ugh. This pairing is not hitting NY, although Pitchfork says that Black Mountain is doing another US run in September. woo hoo.

I got into em, exactly one day after they played Mercury Lounge a few months back, those fuckers.
