did i already miss a post about this? I think it's confirmed for London and Philly, and they're thinking about adding a site in D.C. or New York, but here they're trying to stage a 100,000 + show on the Ben Franklin Parkway, which seems asinine, even for the genius behind electric factory promotions. anyway, speculations? is this capable of surpassing the musical/cultural importance of the first one? is this pointless? Is changing the purpose to supposrt environmental rights signifying that there's no more poverty in africa? or just that it's not posible to end? your thoughts:

Environmental rights? I thought it was eliminating Third World debt.

Either way, I'm boycotting because the Spice Girls have been omitted.

are you gonna buy tickets just to realize this hell? Apparently the Stones are rumored to be the headliner here.

I don't think you could EVER EVER again match that original line-up, nor gear up the people / fans together to make it work like it did.

and well, if you did manage to get some crazy line-up like say:

pick you dream line-up here:

people wouldn't come because it's the 'feel good thing to do'
they would come simply for a good show.

No Dylan?
Guess that "I wish some of this money could go to the farmers" line from the first Live Aid didn't go over too well with Geldof.

I hope Brian May and Roger Taylor don't sucumb to the temptation to perform. It would only suck and there is no way in hell they are going to top that Queen performance.
