not really (micro)house, just a collection of tunes i been diggin lately. was going for sleek sounding stuff, uh oh (lol).
starts off slow, then slowly builds up pace, and kindda slows down again

until

i must digress here (not really), cuz the fields "distance" part off "love vs distance" is hands down dicks the most amazing thing i heard all year.*

*the field: feels like the next rising kompakt superstar. or at least i hope he will be. everything he’s touched so far has been that gucci stuff. this track starts out all slow and repetitive, but then builds up steam, setting it up for a kind of grand release. then in the last 5 min or so, it kindda slides off to take a side exit. . . and switches couppla gears with a tremendous doubling-up propel bass (both unnerving and liberating at the same time) and layers of beautiful recurring sampled guitar swerves (waves and waves building on themselves). kindda gives off a woozy, freefalling feeling. kindda like. . . skydiving on e. i would not know.
