Cloud Recordings on Cloud Nine; OTC adds tour dates as Tall Dwarfs are reissued

After the wonderful success of Olivia Tremor Control's recent reunion gigs at All Tomorrow's Parties, as well as the band's old stomping ground of Athens, GA., you'd think the band would once again leave on a high note and return to their various projects. Thankfully, the re-retirement of OTC has been put on hold as the legendary band has added dates in Chicago and New York City, with the prospect of more dates and cities being added!

Joining OTC on tour will be the Tall Dwarfs. The New Zealand duo, praised by such luminaries as Yo La Tengo and Pavement, are now preparing to make a rare trip to American shores to lavish lo-fi humor upon the indie masses. If that wasn't enough, Cloud Recordings has decided to reissue two Tall Dwarf masterpieces, Fork Songs and Weeville.

TMT's advice to you: If you live in Chicago or NYC, or you can make it to either of these cities to see OTC and Tall Dwarfs -- don't hesitate to do it. You may be witnessing history, or at least seeing the final shows of a great collective of musicians working in unison.
