Wolf Eyes Burn Urine All the Way to Europe and Back Again

Have you ever heard the sound of.....evil? No, I mean, like, EVIL?? Well you see, kids, there's this little thing people like to call "noise rock." That's right, n-o-i-s-e r-o-c-k, and if you have yet to experience this little thing, allow me to explain: it involves lots and lots of noise. And screaming. Sometimes sheet metal. Occasionally, for whatever reason, it proliferates in states like Michigan. And sometimes things fall on the heads of band members and they bleed all over the stage. But you know, that's just what noise rock does. That's what Wolf Eyes does. And oh man, do they do it good. Their well-known Sub Pop release, Burned Mind [TMT Review], is louder than God. Plus it boasted a single which pretty much sums up the listening experience, called "Stabbed In the Face." Perhaps something we can all relate to.

So anyway, if you want a wall full of static, if you want distorted electronic squeaks coupled with sweet, delicious pain rolling around in your eardrums, you'd better get yourself some tickets. And bring extra earplugs, as they're taking some of their noisy friends with them. Don't get too close to the stage, though. They're nice guys, but sometimes I think they might explode. ALL OVER YOUR EARS.
