Obviously there's no urgent need to choose one or the other, but for me, Radiohead. I think they capture the hollow desperation of the turn of the millenium, whereas Beck just makes good music.

I'm inclined to say Radiohead. But I have been listening to Beck a hell of a lot more over the past year.

Radiohead. Beck's clever and talented but says nothing to me about my life.

Sacrificing Britney in a Satanic ceremony on a Black Sabbath.

Beck because Radiohead are SO good that they're often no fun.

There are times when Yorke's voice annoys the hell out of me even when I know that what they're attempting is very smart and creative and blah blah blah. And the whole alienation thing does get tiresome.

I also think Sea Change unsucked.

For some reason I never got into Ok Computer. I don't have a good explanation for it either.

I don't really like either, but I wouldn't even tap the breaks if Beck were in the crosswalk.

Both are well represented in my collection, but I'd probably side with Radiohead, for the Bends through Amnesiac. That's an good run. Midnite Vultures and Sea Change are a bit too hit or miss for me.

I think Midnight Vultures is his best album, but then again, I live in Ohio.

You could tag every opinion with this, be like a catchphrase or something.

Funniest thing borg's ever posted. in return, i'll waive my right to point out the factual inaccuracies in his next two political threads.

I'll rank by albums:

1. Mellow Gold
2. OK Computer
3. Odelay
4. The Bends
5. Kid A
6. Mutations
7. One Foot in the Grave
8. Amnesiac
9. Hail to the Thief
10. Midnite Vultures
11. Sea Change
12. Guero
?. Pablo Honey and Stereopathetic Soul Manure

So, I guess Beck is better but he's slipping quickly. Radiohead still seems kind of exciting, in comparison.
