I think most of you have to wait until next week to get grubby little mits on this but I can tell you this is great stuff.

It's an accurate portrayal of the 31 minutes and 33 seconds immediately preceeding the bar room glassing of the guy that was eyeing up your 'burd'.

And yes, it really does have that unpredictable tension as loud, rowdy high spirits flirt without reason between genuine bonhomie and a few seconds of drunken violence and ultimately an other night in the cells, head bowed with regret under the harsh flourescent light, with your blooded and vomit-stained constituency.

Especially love the 'senga' vocals.

A 'senga' for those that don't know is the sort of girl who'll kick the shit out you

Yes. They were Aidan and Malcolms backing band when Arab Strap played live.

I've deceided they are 45% early Damned plus 30% The Pogues with the final 25% a mixed bag of blues/folk/country.

I'd say it would be best to start with the EP/mini-album 'Love The Cup'.

Love Sons & Daughters! I'm still a bit disappointed that I was unable to see them while I was in Scotland, but glad they're coming into town soon.
