Of course I start this when chase and cotton are gone.

Anyone see [url=http://imdb.com/title/tt0360130/]THIS?[/i]

I liked All the Real Girls enough to see what this is all about. (Same director)

I love George Washington and All the Real Girls, but Undertow was a bit disappointing. I'm glad to see DGG being discussed. :D

Dissapointing in story? Execution? Because it was a departure? expand, pls.

It didn't have the emotional impact on me of his previous films. I've watched it four times now and aside from a few stunning scenes, I just can't seem to get into it. And for some reason I found the younger brother really annoying. Although I adored his line about organizing his books by smell.

George Washington is ok, but this is pretty close to total BS. It's a mix of Malick's Badlands and Days of Heaven, with Sayles' Limbo in a sidecar.

See any of those films instead and you'll be happier.

I just watched this and thought it was pretty good, tho the younger brother was pretty annoying/weird. It's a few steps below All The Real Girls though.

Speaking of whom, the trailer for The New World is here. Watch the slide show, too.
