Every day for almost a week it seems the Chicago weathermen have been forecasting thunderstorms at some point in the day.

And not one day has it happened.

Seriously. We could use some rain.

I think they just need to say it'll be sunny all day and see what happens. I bet it finally rains.

Aw fuck it. I'm going down to the pool now. Friggin heat.

It was 90 here yesterday with 80-percent humidity.
Today it's 80.
Tomorrow's supposed to be 70
Wednesday's supposed to be 60.

Maybe it'll be below freezing by next week.

We've had a bunch of rain here. Went to an outdoor wedding on Sat. and it was a major mess.

There's nothing quite like a wedding reception with ankle deep mud. The dance floor was nice and slippy. This old fuck with his bad hip joint was able to execute the pain-free shimmy thanks to the highly lubricious surface.

I think if they banned the annual Rose Festival, it might help, don't you think, Rodney? ;)

It's spring in Chicago. There is always a chance of thunderstorms. This is nothing new.

Yeah, my entire get up was ruined. Pants, jacket, shoes, etc..

The girl had mud up to her knees by the time we left.

I am sure it will rain here at least once every day this week, from now until October.

I can read books on a park bench down to about -15 so the weather has little effect on me.

I described the tent/mud situation as being akin to a "refugee camp" at one point.

LOL yeah I thought about that after I posted it.

Meh. I just hate heat. It messes me up bad. That's why I hibernate in the summer in air conditioning.

But I'm turning over a new leaf and trying to be more outdoorsy lately and more active(after a long winter on the couch, ugh) so I went and worked out this morning then just went down and swam for a while.

And toasted.

I think I just lost my lily-whiteness. Why is it that as soon as I went blonde I felt the need not to look so white? Dear god I hope it wasn't something in the dye? It's that blonde starlet disease I think. Blonde=must get some tan. ugh. Save me. :P

Oh and it's my day off Busty.

it's 80 degrees farenheit here, and it's the middle of the fucking night in the middle of fucking winter.

One day y'all will see that celsius just makes that much more sense. Freezing point = 0, boiling point = 100! You can't go wrong!

And on Sunday AM when I was packing up my PA, it felt like a haven for malaria and legionaire's disease. Yucky.
