Oh, hello.
Matt Schickele is the son of the guy who did PDQ Bach. Ask your parents. That's not important. What is important is that he wrote some good stuff in the NYC band Beekeeper, but now he has written a couple of dense, lyrical, dissonant guitar and vocal harmory records that really take a while to get into, they're so good. They are Cities Filled with Lights, and this album. One warning: women don't like these records. Samples here:

Is there something wrong with recommending music that's perhaps underheard? If so, I'll stop.

we've got a section for this. people actually do read it.

if you want to make an earnest suggestion, stick around for awhile before thrusting music on us. We've all had waaaay to much utter crap recommended by us to trust anyone that wanders in here recommending a band.

you've got 4 posts, 2 are recommendations and 1 defense of said recommendation. This reeks of street teaming and will usually be ignored. We're not all assholes, just skeptics. well, i'm an asshole, but a civilized one.

Why don't you just move the whole thread to said section?
