I forgot my glasses. Being far-sighted doesn't help when you have to stare at a computer all day.

Would one of you please drive over to my house, get my glasses and bring 'em to work? C'mon, I'll treat you to lunch.

If I didn't need my glasses to see in general, I know I would do this atleast one or two days a week....

I was an hour late to work this morning (than I would have been otherwise) because I couldn't find my glasses.

Which has always struck me as weird -- how am I supposed to find these things if I can't see?

See...that's the problem. I don't need glasses to drive, just to read and see things up close. Today of all days, I have to proofread a bunch of paperwork. *sigh*

And, Dri, for you I'd put out any and everyday, baby. ;)

Actually, I do have such a pair, but I took them with me to Scotland and they've been sitting in my backpack since. I keep forgetting to bring them to work.

And Walgreen's? Those don't exist in this part of town.

i used to forget my glasses in high school occasionally and then would walk home to retrieve them during either a study hall or a class with a sympathetic teacher. and it was seriously a mile, almost all uphill.
