I recently picked up a Creative MuVo mp3 Player, which is cool...except for the fact that it only displays the song title. Is there a way in mp3 Tag Studio (or other similar free-ish software) to create a setting (macro, shell extension, etc.) that will allow me to retag multiple files to include both the artist and song title in the actual song title tag?

For example:

If the ID3 tag info shows...

Title: Blue Orchid
Artist: The White Stripes

...I then want to retag it so the ID3 tag info shows...

Title: The White Stripes - Blue Orchid
Artist: The White Stripes

Can this be done? Help me Obner-Wan...you're my only hope!

Im not familiar with the program you are talking about, but if you have the capability to re-tag files based on file names but if you can then:

1. Rename files as %title% %artist%
2. Then use the file names as the filter you want tag 'Title' with

You can do what f4df says in MP3TagStudio, though you may have to tweak it. (check your PM, Bob).

I use TagScanner, which is good for renaming large batches of files.

Tag & Rename is good, the learning curve can be steep at first, but its pretty heavy..

If you have the CD's, you can always re-rip them.

you sure there isn't a firmware upgrade for your player that takes care of that problem, or a way to change the title displayed thru the player?

FT's had succeeded with the re-tagging. There is nothing for you to see here (except Timmy's comment, which is choice).
