Do NOT miss this opportunity. I'm sooooo glad that I saw them in ATL a couple years ago. I didn't have very high expectation given that it was @ a stadium and I was blown away.

Although, I sat next to ol' GAR who was wearing a suit with Bono sunglasses and doing bumps right along with him. That may have had something to do with my good time. 8)

The only reason I can think of for spending that kind of dough on the Stones in a stadium in '05 is if you've never seen 'em before ('cuz any rock musician/fan worth their salt has to have seen them). Otherwise, save the money and leave your memories untainted.

LooGAR and Bloor, ya see how I craftily worked the word "taint" in there?

Dude, $70 bucks will barely get you 3 beers at any bars these days. Drop the money. Roll up a few heaters and pass em out to your new friends. Get wasted and yell at the Lietenant Governor. Pass out in a closet in the fine suite you obtained for the evening.

Or you could do it like this:

1. Camp out overnight in the parking lot
2. Take 2 hits of acid
3. Puke and then piss yourself
4. Wake up in the gutter covered in filth
5. Run like the wind when the gates open in the morning dropping gallon jugs of gin and orange juice
6. Smuggle one jug into the arena
7. Drink it until you puke again only this time on everyones jackets
8. Pass out during Peter Tosh's set
9. Have your friends hoist your body over the fence in front of the stage where the Haight-Ashbury Free Medical Clinic volunteers carry you to a small folding cair at stage left
10. Wake up to the sound of Keef sayin' "Oy! Are you awlroight?"
11. Stumble back through the crowd to arrive in front of the stage just in time for "Start Me Up"

I find this to be the preferred method.

Or something. Good Christ, Bubba. That is heavy. I thought I did it quite wrong, but the "Throw up again, this time on everyone's jackets" really takes the cake.

yeah even the bump-master-on-the-marta-bus story aint got shit on that....

btw, Jewels--I'm not sure I would be going again this tour if it was going to be in a stadium like last time. The fact they are playing in an 18,000 seat arena made it a no brainer even for 100 bucks. (and thanks again to Harry Monster for the pre-sale hook-up)

Youthful transgressions can teach us much.

Have you ever seen someone try to drink a gallon of milk?

Well... the same thing happens when you try to drink a gallon of gin and OJ.

I learned never to do that again, and I am the better man for it.
