The best theme tune of all time is 'The Chicken Man' by Alan Hawkshaw. It was used in the opening credits of legendary UK school drama Grange Hill (ask anyone my age about it and they will go on for hours with nostalgic glee) for ten years until they changed it to something shitty.

You can listen to it here

There is only one acceptable answer and that is

THE DUKES OF HAZZARD

Jesus, people.

Growing Pains Theme

by B.J.Thomas e Dusty Springfield
Show me that smile again. (Show me that smile)
Don’t waste another minute on your cryin’.
We're nowhere near the end (nowhere near)
The best is ready to begin.

Oooohhh. As long as we got each other
We got the world spinnin right in our hands.
Baby you and me, we gotta be
The luckiest dreamers who never quit dreamin’.

As long as we keep on givin’
we can take anything that comes our way
Baby, rain or shine, all the time
We got each other Sharin’ the laughter and love.

I thought this was written by alan thicke himself (a name synonymous w/failure) as well as "Facts of Life" and "Diff'rent Strokes"

speaking of diff'rent strokes, anyone else think its weird they put the word "strokes" in the title of a show about a ruch guy who buys two young brown children to sexually abuse?
