From Seinfeld:

JERRY: (to George) Again with the sweat pants?

GEORGE: What? I'm comfortable.

JERRY: You know the message you're sending out to the world with these sweat pants? You're telling the world: "I give up. I can't compete in normal society. I'm miserable, so I might as well be comfortable."

So, ah, no.

Yikes! No! I'll accept trainers for hanging out at home or going to the gym, but that's it.

I hate sweatpants. Even around the house.

I only wear them around the house, never outside, unless I'll be in my car and won't have to get out i.e. using a drive-thru at Burger King or somewhere.

Sweatpants suck - they're uncomfortable and ugly. I wear old, broken-in work slacks around the house. I only wear jeans for labor, like working on the car, carpentry, or yard work.

I have lots of sweatshirts and sweatpants. I don't hardly ever wear them.

I think I will, though -- some of them are threadbare enough, and I could put them on over my clothing to protect me from cat fur.

I prefer pajamas to sweatpants. I've never liked the way they feel. I hate those button down.. shiny.. pants too. I forget what they're called. I can't stand wearing pants to bed in general so usually I wear shorts and a t-shirt if i'm just hanging around the house. Either that or I can stand my one pair of pajama pants because they have Garfield all over them. I hate reading Garfield comics because they're dumb but these pants bring back memories from when I did like Garfield.

Not only no, but I'd rather put the kibosh on casual everything and make us all go back to suits for the ballpark even.

Also, the very mention of sweatpants makes me need to take a shower.

I'm a fan, though they don't get much rotation outside the house unless it's winter.

PUBLIC NOTICE: If you wear sweatpants in public, you'd better be rockin one of these as well:

Looks like there's a chipmunk burrowing into his brain.

I don't have a "rattail", but I do sport a "ponytail".
