This weekend I was cutting my grass, and my wife was working in the garden. My neighbor's seven year old and his friend came across the street and asked my wife if they could play with my dog. My wife didn't feel like dealing with them, so she said go inside and play with her. I didn't realize that these two deliquents were in my house unsupervised. After they left I went inside to see if my friends had called me because we were planning to go out. The little FUCKERS stole my cell phone and my money.

So I went across the street, and told my neighbors that I thought their little thug had stolen my phone. So they went to the park to find the kids. They come back and it gets worse. THOSE LITTLE DEMONS PAINTED IT RED WITH A PERMANENT MARKER! I'm pissed. At first I was mad at my wife for letting them in, but now I'm just pissed at them.

Gut reaction: Murder. Maybe turn them in and send them packing down the track that they are already on.

After giving it some thought: This would only enrage the white trash parents who in turn may cause you physical harm or cut your brake lines.

That sucks man. Did they offer to reimburse you for the phone?

Press charges. Do a google search for "stun guns" and "pepper spray". Then tell their parents that you will pepper spray those bastards if they come in your yard.

I'm serious as a heart attack dude. Otherwise, you will shoot these kids eventually.

Actually (and I'm assuming you have a shotgun) but some rocksalt might not be a bad idea.

The mother did say if it couldn't be cleaned ( which I've tried and it can't) that she would buy me a new one. But I have the feeling that I am not gonna get any money from her. Hopefully I'm wrong. I really hate shit like this, but I think your right Yail.

Go to newstand.

Grab a bunch of different blow-in subscription cards for gay porno mags.

Fill out in white trash neighbors name, maybe even send a few to the Arby's where he works. Remember kids, check "Bill Me Later".

Around seven. According to my call log that made one call to a friend of mine. He said they gigled and breathed heavy into the phone. He thought I was playing a wierd joke on him.

Was it hot outside? Was your wife suffering from heat exhaustion and feeling a bit delusional? Why in the hell would she allow those kids inside your house knowing what little delinquents they are?!

Did you get your money back?

yeah the wife and I had it out on this one. We had been in Baton Rouge and were trying to get our yard work done before company showed up. In her defense these kids are annoying and don't stop bothering you. It was against her judgement, but she didn't feel like dealing with the little kids. I love my wife and she very bright, but on occasion I've screamed "what the hell are/were you thinking." Her blonde hair does not come from a bottle.

Yeah, bad idea letting the kids in unsupervised. Other than what these little brats did do I've found that a kid's idea of playing with a dog unsupervised can result in cruelty (intentional or not).

Edit:Kid or no kid, you hurt my dog and I'll find myself arrested.

No I didn't get my money back. Supposedly the other kid took it. My neighbor offered to bring me to their house. I declined. I'm planning on confront the fat little bastard the next time I see him.

not a good idea. what are you going to accomplish confronting a 7 year old? scaring him? big deal.

it's the parents you've got to talk to. let them deal with their kid's behavior. they may not even know what he's up to. you may not get their cooperation or even your money back but at least you acted like a grownup.

Here's the thing. This other kid lives a couple of streets down which is a really bad street. Really bad. I've seen the parents once when they picked him up from my neighbors. Let's just leave it as I don't feel comfortable talking to them or going to their house for that matter. I don't want to scare him or intimidate him. I honestly want my money back. That's all. Frankily if the kid is scared of me as a result than that is fine by me.

I'm on your side, dude, but I'd really take Ayah's, advice. Think about what you're saying. You don't want to confront the adults so you're going to confront a 7 year old? Scaring the little bugger will possibly lead to a more hostile confrontation with his parents. Go to the parents or drop it. Just my 0.2

Steve

do you really think this 7 year old kid is going to give you your money back? like he'll have it in his pocket? or be able to write you a check or something?

don't get me wrong. i would be totally pissed and out of my mind about this. i'd still confront the parents--bad neighborhood or not. but that's me. at least i would know i tried and then if there was ever a next time i'd call the cops.

i feel bad for you. it's a pretty frustrating situation.

Let me be clearer. My intention will not be to scare him. More like Jonathon, I know you took the money, and I would really appericate it if you returned it kind of thing. I'll be stern but not crazy. I'm 90% sure he isn't telling his parents about this anyway, so I'm not too worried that they'll confront me, but If they do it will at my house and my property not theirs. I'm not gonna push the kid to hard but I think it's worth the try. My neighbor kid is 7 but I don't know about Jonathon. he could be older because he is alot bigger

I'm pretty sure that nobody on this board would venture to their house to confront them if they truly understood what I am dealing with here. And if I hadn't been making poor decisions on wasting my money I probably would just forget about it, but every little bit helps this month.

It is impossible for a adult to win an argument or confrontation with a kid that is not their child.

Tie the kids and your wife to a raft and set them out to sea.

I don't think he'll return it but I am hoping he blames my neighbor's kid for it and that way I can ask them again to reimburse me for the money. I completely understand your concern. Jonathon probably won't be coming by my house for a while anyway, and by the time he does I might be a little less pissed anyway, and just let it go.

I don't have expectations of winning. I was in fact somewhat nice to the kid when I got my phone back, and I have always been nice to him. He loves my dog and comes by pretty much dailey to play with her. I'm hoping that he'll either blame my neighbor's kid or feel guility (I realize that is an extremely outside chance). I don't want anything out of this besides my money.

Do you usually play these weird jokes on people?

"Hello, ma'am. This is the electric company. Is your refrigerator
running?"

"Why, yes it is."

"Don't you think you should move your ass and try and catch it."
