they have those at the Chick Fil-A Dwarf Houses. Good, but you will vomit.

Honestly, I probably won't have much say as to where I am going---this is my gf's friends and shit. So I'll be a ninja without a posse.

I just wanted a little background on the city, hip bar districts, etc. so I dont seem like a schmuck......

Two words: Brown liquor.

Dude, Call Dat Nigga Jigga or Suga Shane..Kate lives in the L'Ville and they roll like MONSTERS when they go to town. Massive bourbon and gambling...you know..FUN!!

Also, Churchill Downs is great and all, but I was almost killed by marauding street gangs, and/or almost had to stab my way out of some biker bar there. Mind you this was 10 years ago...shit 11.

Well, I didn't actually DO IT, but I was almost certain we were gonna have to.

Saw one of the best concerts I've ever seen there: My Morning Jacket at Headliner's. That's about it though. Didn't tour the town.

They have the Louisville SLugger Museum if you like baseball and apparently a Muhammed Ali Museum as well. They've tried to revitalize their dowtown area and have a little strip with bars and somehwhat fancy streetlights (neon guitar etc...). I was there for a week without a car and didn't do much of anything.

Oh, you're too old/good for a road-trip?

Just kidding. If I make it up to Chicago again this year, it'll be for Intonation.
