That is exactly the kind of music I played back in the day. My college Radio days seem to be the basis for that boxed set. I too need to pick myself up a copy.

i just want to say I'm suprised that someone taped MY college shows and made a boxed set out of them. I should at least get a liner notes mention. Something like "thanks to that drunk from Maine, oh yeah and that brown jeff guy, he's alright, too."

I'm pretty dissappointed in this. I think in the end, i just don't like enough of the music from the era and alot of the production renders this almost unlistenable. I rather the No Thanks! box set.

Man, what a great box set.

All this talk of college radio reminded me that my friend and I used to tape our shows -- I need to dig those out and listen to them on my old walkman.
