I'm finding this to be completely underwhelming. Then again, it took me ages to warm to "Neon Golden" even. Though this doesn't seem to warrant much more attention ... am I wrong?

It's uneven. The Notwist cuts are very appealing to me, some of the non-Notwist are mediocre.

You're probably wrong, but it ain't my bag either. Then again, I still haven't warmed to Neon Golden ... let alone much anything by anti-con.

Not being too familiar with Notwist, I'm comparing it to Ten. Not measuring up.

I just ordered it over the weekend...based on Whiney's review. Looking forward to it.

I had to revive this thread because I just got this disc and it's God damn good! The Notwist and these hip-hop guys really compliment each other.

For those who like the album, it's in your best interest to check out Neon Golden by The Notwist and The No Music by Themselves. Both are completely different, but outstanding! Critics destroyed the latter when it first came out, but recent reviews seem to indicate that people are finally warming up to it. You don't even have to like Anticon to enjoy The No Music because it's very accessible.
