Dear Billy Radcliffe,
I suppose a thank you is in order. The Package I received from you today contains some of the best and most mongerous music ever. The Stones bootlegs are great, as is the rest of the stuff. Unfortunately, I am unsure as to when I will be able to listen to it again, because I am posting this from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; I am having to dictate it to my comrade in arms via "tap code" because they have broken my fingers and cut out my tongue. I hope you are satisfied, you psychotic son of a bitch. Then again, you are probably being held by the KGB or the Mossad. You just can't fucking send stuff like "Honky Tonk Women" (Alternate Acetate version without Mick Taylor overdub, plus deleted "Sailors in Paris" verse) across international borders. Not to mention, with your bizarre fixation on Bobbie Gentry, they have probably been on to you for years. See you in Attica,

Senator LooGAR

There is so much crazy stuff on here that I am sure that it will take some time to reveal itself. Right now I am astonished by the beauty of the Acoustic Demo of 'All Down the Line.'

The one thing that bleeds through here is the ramshackle beauty of the songs and the sessions that bred them. If anyone at Virgin had a brain, they would be putting out reissues with a ton of these outtakes, etc..I know I would eat em up.

Then again "Virgin Records, It Ain't Gonna Suck Itself"

There is a massive Stones archive. I don't think they've ever put out an album since Goat's Head Soup where they didn't have around 40 songs recorded and ready to choose from. I don't know why Mick and Keef are sitting on that shit - maybe they're afraid it'll tarnish their rep, but, shit, they survived Jamming with Edward. Bastids.

Exactly. Tattoo You was almost all re done outtakes of Goats Head/Black and Blue sessions stuff, and one of their stronger "late period" albums.

I really don't get it, either, but maybe that's why we aren't A&R men.

BTW - you and Loogs are gonna have to mix 'n' match. He got the best of Jerry Jerry, you got the Nikki Sudden w/ Mick Taylor. And I kinda suspect y'all (hi, cmanhattan) gonna need both of 'em.

Thanks for the heads up. Bloor mentioned something to me about a Mick Taylor thing, and I noticed I didn't have it. Redlands is basically a mish mash of all our entertainments (books, music, movies) so i am sure it will end up in my harddrive of GAR at some point.

my fingers have healed, but, they are working over my legs ala the Andersons..don't worry I won't give you up.

I have just been informed by a secret military tribunal that the inclusion of Ike Turner's "Prancing" gets me an additional 246 years.

Thanks, Rads.
