As inspired by Chase from Strong Island's thread about Britt Daniel nodding to John Lennon, what are some other songs that intentionally lift lyrics from songs by presumably influential artists?

The first that comes to my mind is Steve Earle's "Hard Core Troubadour" that drops Springsteen's Rosalita, would you come out tonight near the end.

Hip hop does this with some frequency, too, but I'm thinking more of a tip of the hat rather than, "hey this rhymes".

Built to Spill's "You were right" has a ton of classic rock references.

References to two different lyrics from Martha & the Vandellas' "Dancing in the Streets":

"Summer's here and the time is right for fighting in the streets" - Rolling Stones
"Summer's here and the time is right for racing in the streets" - Brooooce

And the line "Don't forget the Motor City" shows up in X's "The New World."

Speaking of X, "True Love Part 2" ends with quotes from Land of a 1000 Dances, Be-Bop-a-Lula, D-I-V-O-R-C-E, Skip to My Lou, Burning Love, I've Been Working on the Railroad, Black Betty, and Freddy's Dead.

Cory mentioned hip-hop in general, but this one really stands out for me.
