Just sayin'.

i've never liked Plant's voice. the woman might have some of their cds but i've never bothered to listen to anything not on a Cadillac commercial during a football game.

I've got their BBC sessions and that's really all the live stuff I would want from them, but everyone I know says "West" is great.

I haven't heard it, as you probably know. But I do find that when I go to Houses of the Holy or albums later than it, I find a lot more to enjoy than, say, the first 4. And of course the only albums I still have are I, II, and III. sigh.

Zep never really got to me as much as their peers, but i think that's largely due to the fact that i knew all about their lives before I'd heard anything other than II and IV. And yeah, those guys were cocksmears.

JPJ still cracks me up, though.

I burned myself out on most Zep long ago, but this set (and the DVD) really grabbed me. Didn't cause me to run out and re-buy all the old albums, but this serves my Zep-needs when they arise. And if you haven't bought that DVD yet, you're seriously missing out. You're only getting (literally) part of the picture with How the West Was Won - the stuff before was stunning, the stuff after was pretty stunning too.

I've kind of gone through a rebirth with Zep as of late. Instead of changing the station when they get the led out, i've been listening and enjoying lately. Still don't know if this is something I want though.

When I hear Led Zeppelin this is what I see and I close my eyes but it doesn't go away.
