I got roped into playing an opening slot at a dive bar in the U district Saturday night

I am going to be up there Sunday and Monday - staying downtown at the Alexis with the wife. Going to the Mariners game on Sunday vs. the Rangers.

I will look into happenings

the alexis is cool because they allow dogs - they have a special dog bed, treats, water bowl, even have friggin dog room service...haha.

I'll be staying with friends in Fremont. It's my fifth time visiting Seattle. So psyched to finally be getting back there

hey Rodney, is the Alexis a Kimpton hotel? If so, I love that chain. They do allow dogs at all their hotels, and they usually have free wine at 5 pm every night.

The Fifth Avenue Suites in downtown Portland is a Kimpton too. I've stayed at a few so far-- the Hotel Allegro in Chicago and the Onyx in Boston. Both were great.
