Has anyone seen either band live? If so, what should I expect?

i haven't seen hot snakes with the new drummer, but they were immensely entertaining live. Moreso IMO than on their records.

Hot Snakes are awesome live. I'd def. recommend seeing them as they're calling it quits after this tour.

Aren't they playing the Troub on the 7th of Aug? I want to go, but I think I'm going to be in Vegas that weekend. :/

Yeah, they are...I forgot that I'm seeing Teenage Fanclub that night. So, I can't go. :(

hot snakes are pretty great. they won't entertain as much as some other bands, but they're one of the tightest bands i've ever seen. and, if you're really lucky, they might do a cover of "bullet train to vegas" and people will lose their minds.

Isn't the Dungen show on July 9th in LA? I'm probably gonna go to this, but I need to figure out the date and venue. I saw it in LA Weekly a few weeks ago, but can't remember which venue it is.

Edit: Just found it. Troubadour on July 9. Think there's any chance of this show selling out? I really don't want to have to go through Ticketmaster.

Mike, fax your order to the Troubadour. If you do it today before 5pm, they'll call with your confirmation the same day.
