Yeah, it's one of those names that forces you to rebel against the most natural pronunciation for it to make any sense. Any band name that requires work isn't worth it.

It's only just dawned on me that this is a double entendre.

Well the shameful anatomy of supernatural beings is always dirty but so is "gobbling cock" or simply 'O' as it's often etched into public toilet cubical doors.

He's a supporting-player in the Harry Palmer series of adult-theme Harry Potter knock-offs.

This is definitely worth the journey, if I can take the time off work - which is looking more and more doubtful by the day...

Actually no. She only flaked on SXSW... we were planning to go last minute, and things ended up not working out so we decided to hit up CMJ for sure.

Just a bit of advice....(froma veteran NY'er / CMJ goer)

Unless you are interested in the panels and showcases during the day and stuff, you are much better off buying actual tickets for the shows you want to see, instead of getting a badge...

Of course, once the schedules come out, we all make our list of shows we want so see, and we make these crazy plans of being in 6 different venues in a 5 hour period, but it rarely works out....

Set times change, traffic while traveling, overall partying, etc....

PLUS, having a badge does not guarantee you entrance to the shows. Usually each club is set up to allow ony a certain amount of badges in, and the rest goto ticket holders... So you either wind up getting to a show early, and waiting on line with your badge to hopefully guarantee your entrance to the show, or you look at the schedule, and buy tix for the shows you defniitely dont want to miss...

personally, i think you'll save yourself alot of grief....but thats just me.

Hey Dov, I'll hit you up about this when the time gets closer and to make sure our plans follow through. My friend's getting badges through her work, but yeah, I don't want to miss out on any shows if that's the case.

Dammit, I wanna go! If I do that'll be THREE weekends in a row worth of music fests:

Sunset Junction
Arthurfest
CMJ Music Fest

Dude, I'm hardcore but not THAT hardcore!

(edited cuz I can't get my fest names right)
