I work at a music store and our manger was gone for a week and I was in charge of the store. Everything went off without a hitch for the week and as a reward I get to select any three CDs I want to have. Suggestions? Preferably newer stuff.

You work in a music store, and yet you don't know what to get?

I would like some things like Okervil River(which I have) and some good hip hop. Any suggestions are welcome. Possibly post three of your all time faves.

I had thought about that Edan CD and now I think my list is now down to two. Thanks Cotton.

Expensive ones.

Ellen Allien, Thrills (or perhaps one of her older releases, if you have it -- you don't work in a mall store, do you?)
Natalie Imbruglia, the new one
and...uh...I dunno...Shape of Despair if you have it...

No, seriously, what kind of music do you like?

Common - Be
New Radicals - Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too
Peter Gabriel - Up

If he owns no Missy albums, I'd recommend getting So Addictive before the new one. You can't start a Missy collection with an album that only has two Timbaland tracks!
