When someone quickly yanks up the back of your underwear, do you call it...

A Wedgie?
Getting Melvined?
An Undie Grundie?

I always go with the more traditional "wedgie," but perhaps that's a midwestern thing.

I realize it's national, but "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" makes me think that "Melvin" may be more popular on the west coast.

It's always been a "wedgie" to me, but I have also heard it referred to as a "snuglie" .

I've only heard the term Wedgie. But thanks for expanding my vocabulary! I can't wait for a chance to use these new terms.

When I received them regularly back in Jr. High, they were individually known as a "Texas Bite." But I believe "wedgie" is the universally recognized terminology.
