Punk rock finally has an answer to Hansen: Eyeball Skeleton. This band was formed by brothers when they were in kindergarten and first grade. Eyeball Skeleton is JJ Brown (7 years old) on guitar and vocals, Charlie Brown (9 years old) on bass and vocals, and their dad manning the drum machine.

Almost every song is about monsters walking around boring suburban towns, my personal favorite is Flat Top Vampire. Here’s a link to the first track off their album, which was released in April on “My Pal God Records.”

This will be my kids in a couple of years.
Only, they'll be better.

Still... cute.

Now, either start talking about other music, or take your street teaming somewhere else.

actually i am eyeball's pr man. i'm a smooth talking sixth grader that's taking 2%, sweet deal eh?

the lineup is eerily similar to old skull, but it's a little less obvious that their dad is writing the lyrics. at least i hope a guy in his 30s isn't writing songs like cyclopse girl.

First band that popped in my mind when I read the phrase "punk rock finally has an answer to Hansen." I guess pre-teen punk bands are quickly (and mercifully) forgotten.

Duplex is a project spearheaded by Veda Hille, who is consistently amazing - although you won't hear her singing a song like "Pooing and Peeing" on her own albums.

One of my high school English teacher's names was Mr. Matathias, but everyone called him Mr. Matt.

That's pretty much all I've got.
