Hey there, we are now accepting pre-orders for "Shinola", the "new" Ween album on Chocodog Records. Aaron and I are back in the studio again writing and recording songs for the next Ween record. We don't have any plans yet to do any gigs but that could change very quickly. Right now it feels good to be recording and we both wanna wait until we have a new batch of tunes before we do any kind of tour. We will more than likely be playing some isolated dates this year though. Nothing is concrete just yet but keep checking back with this site for updates. And thanks very much for hanging in there with us. I haven't been updating the site as much because there was little to report, yet I've been getting as many nice emails as ever and for that I thank you. Hopefully "Shinola" will satiate your desire for some new Ween material, even though it's mostly old.

past of me is really psyched, and pat of me knows i'll have all this shit anyway. nonetheless, a remastered "Booze Me Up and Get Me High" is long overdue.

I actually don't think that you'll have much of it, even as a huge Ween fan (as I am myself). I've been hanging around the ween.net forums and it seems like pretty rare material (the tracklist hasn't been listed, but one of the guys involved in the making of the CD posts there) but either way, it's a new Ween release, so you can't go wrong.

Has anyone heard this? I called my local record store and they said they've got it in stock, so I'm definitely picking it up today. I can only hope that there will be more Shinola-volumes released soon.

I bought it yesterday at Cactus Music. It's really not that bad. Almost seems like a real album. It has a feel similar to Quebec. There's one song on there called "Monique the Freak." Sounds like a Parliament song.
