Pitchfork's is a completely underwhelming review. I love this record and would encourage you to check it out. It's very fluid, patient, and of a perfect length. While certain Godspeed approaches do abound, I think this should appeal more so to fans of Six Organs of Admittance's "Dark Noontide", say, than "Lift Your Skinny Fists".

I had this in my hand last Sunday but decided not to get it. I will get it soon, though.

So you say it is even better than their first one?

I say it has left more of an impression on me than the first (which I intend to revisit tomorrow). I say it is executed with aplomb, more so. It is sprawling in its composition, but concise in its length and the point it makes.
