Main guy is Frank Pino, whose brother Dave Pino was the main writer for Damone, before he left the band..

Anyways... the brothers Pino write in very similar styles, and if you like the Damone record, Im sure you are gonna love Waltham.

Heard 3 tracks last night, and I was hooked.

Waltham was really big in Boston for a while. Are they still together?
And the Pino bros. own a tattoo shop here where certain members of my family have been inked.

the debut record came out today...couple of shows lined up...im hoping they are, and will hit NYC soon....with Damone of course.

I dunno if Damone will be playing any shows with them, after the falling out they had with Dave awhile back.

I bought "Permission To Build" ( which I gather is what this new release is, remixed & with a couple different songs ) about a year ago, & got the 1st Waltham album in a trade with Dave ( along with some Damone stuff ) about the same time. I like the Waltham stuff OK, but I don't think it's up to the level of the Damone CD.

'Course, with Dave gone my fear is that the 1st Damone CD will be the only good Damone CD.

I'm sorry but this band is one of the worst bands in Boston. Absolute shit.

I saw the singer in Best Buy one day and I think he was wearing makeup and had used 3 cans of Aqua Net on his hair.
