Pulp live

has anyone ever seen them live? I don't think they've toured here in quite awhile (Jarvis' DJ gigs notwithstanding) and all i ever really heard about their shows was the triumphant glastonbury appearance which was a last miute thing or something (side question: bands who've basically "come out" in the mainstream British music world with glasto shows? there's probably hundreds but i feel like Pulp and Primal Scream are two big ones).

But right now i'm listening to this French radio broadcast and they're playing "A Little Soul", which by itself is one of my favorite songs but with PETAL FUCKING STEEL!!???? i'm hooked. So, should I be trying to locate more of their shows? was this a fluke? lay it on me!

pulp is one of those bands i've always wanted to see live but never did. i've heard a live version of "common people", and it just blew me away. i'd love to hear a complete live show of theirs.

I saw them live a while back. they were great. it was ridiculous fun.

they just released the park is mine and f.e.e.l.i.n.g.c.a.l.l.e.d.l.o.v.e. on dvd in the US. well, that's what i heard, but none of my friends have found it yet. the next time they play, i'm going. i don't care if it's ankara. (actually, that'd probably be awesome.)

I saw them twice:
Once on the His n' Hers tour (opening for Blur, who were touring on Parklife). And it was the first time I heard them. I could tell they were great, but just didn't know the music. However, "Do You Remember the First Time?" blew me away.

Second time on Different Class tour, as headliners.

They are just ridiculously good live.

They didn't tour here much after this is hardcore and they kept saying they would...liars.

i don't think they broke up as much as decided not to speak to each other for 45 years, at which they would regroup, put out an album, and then repeat cycle.
