acoustic, contemplative, singer-songwriter type of stuff. some of her favorites are: csny, tori amos, ben harper's acoustic stuff, blind melon, some ani difranco. i've played for her and she has also dug: alexi murdoch, ray lamontagne, elliott smith, nick drake, spoon, devendra banhart, big star, etc. but i'm fresh out of ideas. help me out you folky folks...

hey, thanks for all the recommendations! i'm already checking out some m. ward, ron sexsmith, beth orton, archer prewitt and hem (working on finding the rest of it). i'm particularly digging m. ward, how the hell did i sleep on this guy? keep 'em comin :)
