In my opinion, there's more whining about people whining about no music threads than there is whining about no music threads.

And if some of you want to hear new music, participate in the damn obner make-a-mix thread damn it!!!!!

That's probably true. OPA! has been missing in action of late.

I do agree that there are great music threads today, but I think it might partially be a reaction to last week's blowup over no music threads. Not a bad thing, though. Personally, I have tried to post more music-related stuff myself since that whole ordeal.

Oh and don't forget about the Avril getting engaged thread. OMG NO WAY.

I'm always on the road and out of the office (and therefore not on the board all day) on Tuesdays so the content has to improve.

But fear not, I'm in the office all day tmrw.

in my opinion, there's less whiners about non-music related threads than there are non-whiners about music related whining. it's obvious the whining about music had led non-whiners to whine a bit more about music when it appears in non-whining form.

Response #3 - Dude, it's not an opinion, it's a statistically provable fact. I don't have the gumption right now to go figure it out, but as to whether there's more whining about whiney music, or non-whining about non-music, it's just a number.

All's I'm saying is that this place ain't so bad and is in fact pretty goddamn awesome the bulk of the time.
'Course, there's always LooGAR and the ATL posse who storm in to trash the place on a regular basis, but even they have a rogueish charm about them and are willing to lend a hammer so as to join in on the mayhem.

They're populist heathens, and I dig that. Another facet that makes this place so special.

actually, i heard it from Whiney first. i also heard that we should expect the board up and running about the same time as CMJ's special Christmas holiday issue. In other words March of 06
