ok here's the deal. I'm trying to make a template for a word doc used here at work. the logo is on the first page, and only the first page, and in order for the text to not go into the logo, we made up a text box for the typing. but, that then made it impossible for typing to flow into a 2nd page.

would anyone know how to make the typing flow into the 2nd page?

or maybe a text box on one page is impossible to have text flow to the next? since the text box is an isolated field?

right-click on the border of the first text box, click "create text box link", then click text box 2.

Why don't you just forget the text box, and change the picture wrapping settings so the text stays out? (right-click the image, click Properties, click wrapping, select the setting that works best)

That's probably what I would do.

I have no bloody clue if this will work, but...
1. Put the text box and logo in the header of the 1st page (View/Header and Footer).
2. Go to File/Page Setup and check the "Different first page" box under Headers/Footers.
