al jazeera is a pretty fascinating organisation, especially considering that as far as news agencies go, theyre still in their infancy.
found a lot of the opinions expressed by the journalists to be fair, while still understanding the perspective is of course going to necessarily dictate a certain slant, as all news organisations do.
one of the things i really liked about it was that whereas michael moore would have just taken a bush snippet and then juxtaposed it with some 'damning' piece of evidence, the director put some distance between segments to challenge the viewer to draw their own inferences and make connections where logic, and not proximity, was the element necessary to conjoin the two.
