For me, it's got to be the Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana and Bread.

A close second:

Free Chips and Salsa at Mexicali Rosa's /
" " at On The Border

Any amusé you get at a fine-dining place.
My favorite: Tuna tartare with beluga caviar and extra virgin olive oil. (At MK in Chicago: www.mkchicago.com )

Also:
When you go to a Korean restaurant, you get all those complimentarty relish trays. A place on Lawrence at California has the best: Korean Resraurant (yep, that's the name). You get:
Kim-Chee
Fried vegetable pancakes
Pickled, spicy turnip
Pickled baby eels
etc.
etc.
etc.
About THIRTY total!!!

Not all of them are appetizing, but there are more than enough that are delicious to make up for it.

I used to live around the corner from there.
Best Korean food I've ever had.

Definately go sometime if you get a hankering, Mark.
Try the "Spicy, sliced chicken". But be careful – it could kill you (in a good way).
