I'd smack that bitch if that happened in the first place.
Plus, she does not have a nice ass. As a female I can comparatively say that my dead grandmothers ass is probably 99% hotter than that.

cemeterypolka,
your work is great. i particularly love your ink drawings. if this is you at the beginning i cannot wait to see your stuff in 10 years. a true talent and so unselfconcious. are you selling stuff?

for some reason when i saw your drawings i thought of the artist, dawn clements. i love her large room drawings, especially "dijon." here's a link to some of her work at the pierogi gallery in williamsburg. a great gallery in and of itself.

http://www.pierogi2000.com/flatfile/clementsdo4.html

sorry to ramble but i really do like your work. keep us posted with new stuff.

and as usual, thanks, dalen.

i'm working on it. i've gone through a phase where nothing inspires me. for the month of june i was extremely inspired and painted atleast once or twice a day. all of this month i was uninspired. now i feel like i'm getting it back. either way i've been meaning to post full pictures of this miles davis painting i did and another painting i have done of a woman laying on a couch, however i just haven't really had the motivation.

are you an artist as well? if so, i'd love to see some work, if you wouldn't mind.

i am but i am also a technical nightmare and it's a little hard for me to get it all together.
my main interest is the figure. i have a suite of large format 4'w x 5' (aproximately) charcoal drawings. i love working large.
right now i'm experimenting with a new technique and working on some large figure paintings. i don't have a strong concept for the content yet but am mostly working on the technique.

nice to meet ya.
as dalen said, there are a lot of artists/art geeks here on the board. we've just got to get the discussion out of this tara reid thread to call them out.

ayah thank you so much. i really appreciate your comments. i actually am planning a day trip tomorrow since i am off of work and, we aren't really sure of where to go, so maybe williamsburg will be of consideration now. i'd love to see the gallery in person, and also its an excuse to check out the new Plan 9 that opened up in that area. but, i'm just developing a style, throughout the classes i've been taking i'm always making what i have been told to make, so i'm finally able to branch out and figure out what makes me happy. hopefully i'll become better developed than i am, but overall i'm pretty happy with the direction i'm taking, but i do know i have a lot to learn before i become what i want to be.
i'm looking forward to the future and seeing where i go from here. thank you for your comments.
