One video I found.

Shit is so crazy.

I'm on Artest's side though. Fuck those Detroit fans. And Ben Wallace.

It's the worst brawl in the history of the NBA... involves Artest, J. O'Neal, S. Jackson, Bender all fighting fans in the stands and on the floor. It's amazing.

All started by... surprise, Artest cheap-shotting Ben Wallace.

I don't know, man... that foul on Ben was pretty ridiculous. I don't blame him for flipping. Especially seeing as the game had 40 seconds left and the Pacers were up by 15.

That was nowhere near as bad as either Ben or Ron have a tendency of doing.

I am really starting to hate that sport.

Fuck basketball, the players are a bunch of thugs.

Latrell Sprewell “I need to be able to feed my family”
Stephen A Smith is their Peter Gammons, do I need to say more?
The Lakers just quite during last years Finals, during the Finals!

I will only watch the college game for now on, no fucking excuse.

I can’t believe that I miss hockey.

Speaking of watching the college game, that's pretty much what I do.

And the Cuse/Memphis game was really good on Espn2.

And then they randomly changed to tennis with like 5 minutes left in the game. (unless I'm going crazy and more time passed than I thought amid this NBA fiasco)

This takes away from UNC losing to Santa Clara!!! God, I hate Roy WIlliams.

There are more and more TV angles coming in. This was absolutely nuts. While I don't blame Artest for flipping out after getting hit by a cup... you just can't go into the stands. There are a few lawsuits pending and a few millionaires to be made here.

Once fans cross the line like that, it's on. Don't give me that "Oh they make millions" bullshit. If someone throws something at you it's you right to defend yourself. When people punch you in the back of the head you have the right to turn around & pop that pussy. If a chair is thrown at you... you get the idea.

What a baby Wallace is, couldn't stand getting his ass kicked at home to fall to .500 so he flips out. If the game was that over why was he still in there risking taking a hard foul? Horrible foul no doubt, but getting hit with debris is way worse.

The best is the first guy Artest hit in the black shirt. They showed in slow motion on a local channel here & you can tell exactly when the fans jubulation went from throwing stuff at & taunting Artest to "Holy shit he's gonna kick my ass". TV is priceless sometimes. I just hope he threw something at Artest & wasn't some yuppie dork caught in the crossfire.

Sad part is all the crying kids afterwards. NBA it's Fan-tastic!

The only thing missing was someone mopping the floor with Jeff Van Gundy.

Thing I don't understand is the love/hate relationship America has with the NBA. They watch it in droves but they act like they hate it. I mean root against the Olympic team & why? It's almost like how talk radio has listeners who listen cause they hate the host. I mean I don't find basketball that entertaining esp the NBA, playoffs are too predicable. I'm someone who has to get into something hardcore or almost totally ignore it, scratching the surface is not an option. But a lot of people I know who are into the NBA almost tolerate it more than enjoy it. I don't know maybe I'm rambling now

oh hell no, that was just an average run of the mill foul and Ben Wallace hit Artest in the throat. You don't hit someone in the throat, that was some pussy shit. Then Artest didn't fight back.

Artest shouldnt' have gone into the stands for ANY reason, but you can't blame him for starting that.

I dunno... Ron Ron hit him pretty hard with his elbow into the back of hid head. Also, the game was supposedly chippy the whole way through... tensions were high.

I was thinking the same thing about the kid with the black shirt... his face when Artest was coming at him was awesome. The guy with the Wallace warmup and the white hat is screwed... reportedly, he was the one who threw the bottle and started punching Ron. He's in big trouble.

I happened to catch this live in a bar last night. I guess it was the only game on last night but..........FUCKING AWESOME!!!! DETROIT......WHAT?!?!?

Fans openly throwing punches and whatever else they could find.

That being said, Artest is borderline crazy. I mean fucking mentally unbalanced, absolutely unpredictable thug.

NBA is a fucking joke. I haven't cared about it in 10 years.

Yes. But, Ben Wallace has all that padding up there.

and of course, who's doing the most irate, player sympathetic commentary from the get-go? stephen fuckin a smith. did you hear his bit about how "i haven't been a professional athlete, but from my experience getting yelled at for what i do, i'm about ready to take somebody out, too!"

like, what the fuck is this, the WWF?

i don't doubt that i'd probably react similarly to artest, but i'd also have a second thought that goes: let the fucking security take care of this + i'm out of here. i mean, according to the film, the guy he started beating up right away - in the black shirt - wasn't even the dude who threw the drink! fucking blind rage is what that is.

that sucker punch from o'neal...wtf?

what i think should happen:
Ben wallace, anyone else that took the floor : 2 games
Oneal: 8 games
Jackson: 10 games
Artest: end of the season

what i think will happen:
Artest: 10 games + Cash
Everyone else: 4 games

Which, of course, will be paid by the Pacers organization. What was he doing laying on the scorer's table anyway?

Did you see that fat guy wailing on Freddie Jones? Damn. Of course, Austin Croshere will be the only one playing their next game... every shot of this I see, I can see his bald spot running away from a fight.

If any good comes of this, the rest of America can finally see what a waste Stephen A. Smith is... this guy a complete fucking joke.

That's what I'm saying. Artest is the defintion of a loose cannon which unfortunately makes him even more intriguing to most people.

What I love is the how aghast the NBA and analysts are. What the fuck?

Detroit loves the image of the Bad Boys and the NBA plays up the "it's gonna be a war" angle all the time. Throw a few hours of boozing into the mix and fans are already ready for blood. This was a game between the best teams in the East.

IMO Artest should shoulder most of the blame. He could've left and it never would've escalated like that but his crazy ass gets a drink thrown on him and he goes ballistic into the fucking stands.

PS- I totally want to hear his rap album. What a beautiful train wreck that should be.

What about the dude that ran on to the court straight at Artest with apparently no plan and just stood there for a second and Artest just decked him. Hilarious.

That's the same guy that O'Neal came out of nowhere and gaffled.

That's entertainment. I'm a big fan of mayhem.
