I was in my hometown today to get a haircut and I guess they have wrestling matches at the armory. There was a poster up on a telephone pole for it and I *think* it was ECW but I'm not positive. Anyways, I was reading the names of some of the wrestlers and the last one kinda stood out.

I was in Tower the other day and they have a Road Warriors DVD out...All kinds of old footage from the early years and shit..NWA matches..etc.. I might have to pick it up...

I can't believe Hawk died. I bet if I combed my dad's storage units I could find my copies of Starcade '87 CHITOWN HEAT, and Great American Bash '88 (WAR GAMES) on BETA. I may just buy a fine dvd copy of those to bring to Redlands for post-football game enjoyment this year.

All you busters who didn't live in Texas back in the Von Erichs' heyday (late-'70s/early-'80s) have NO IDEA what you missed!!! Seriously, I can't wait to see this! There's another Von Erich documentary that came out around a decade or so ago, called Faded Glory. It's loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow budget, but still extremely compelling.

I have the Road Warriors dvd. The doc. is pretty good and has some cool matches. I will probalby buy the Bret Hart dvd when it comes out in...October, I think? I know the Ultimate Warrior dvd comes out in September. That will be a rental. I was a fan of him when I was a kid but seeing some of his matches now, he was nothing more than a bodybuilder running around splashing people and shaking the ring ropes.

Twilight, what do you think of Summerslam so far?

I'm not really sold on it yet, but i'm sure i'll check it out with some friends. Cena vs Jericho will be good, but I already know who wins (unless something drastic happens). I've know what the main event is for Unforgiven. If you don't know (or care), I won't say.

HBK should win this match, but I think Hogan will take it.
