...get a second wind? It's the 9th most downloaded song on iTunes this week. Was it a featured song on the OC or something?

See what happens when you keep believing? Your song is number 1 again 25 years later!

Post #800:

Seriously, are people actually being introduced to this song for the first time through the show? It seems to me that anyone who has lived to an age where they own an iPod and watch Laguna Beach or Family Guy would have heard this song enough to know how awful it is.

That song is not "awful."

You never know. Like I have a cousin who is 15 and just getting into Floyd and the like..and I am quite sure she watches Laguna Beach.

You gotta start somewheres.

My wife and I were at a bar in Lansing, MI following a Michigan State football game last season (victory over #4 Wisconsin), and when that song came on, the damn dance floor filled immediately. Everyone in the place was singing it at the top of their lungs. It was unreal.

Now to be fair I never said I liked Journey, I said they've got a couple of good songs that I won't switch off, and probably for the wrong reasons too. They're not exactly great songs, but the pure earnestness of the first two is just amazing, particularly Separate Ways. The third one is included for Caddyshack, RIP Rodney. And they all sound awesome when drunk, particularly 1 and 3.

Don't Stop Believin'
Separate Ways
Anyway You Want it.
