What do you think of singers who sing in falsetto/
Love it?
Hate it?
There's a time and a place for everything?

Me: I'm a sucker for a good falsetto hook.
Chris Issak is a fucking master.
"Picture Book" by the Kinks is one of my all-time faves.
Roy Orbison? Duh!

How do you all feel about falsetto vocals? What are your favorites?

I like how Ryan Adams uses it on subtle, sad stuff. Otherwise, I don't think about it much unless it's being done annoyingly.

And after a few karaoke attempts I appreciate how hard it is to do well.

Prince - Especially on "Kiss"

I've always loved Jagger's falsetto, even on silly stuff like "Emotional Rescue."

Kinda hard to argue with Chris Isaak and Prince. Also dig me some Sigur Ros.

Falsetto bad == eunuchs.

I love me a good Britt Daniel falsetto. Spoon is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of using falsetto well.

I love it,
Sigur Ros
Radiohead
Paul Banks from Interpol going from Ian Curtis monotone to falsetto on Obstacle #1
M Ward going from gravel twang to it

I think it only gets annoying through pop-country and when a gimmicky singer uses it most of the time.

Beck did it quite well with 'Brenda'.

Sting could do it well.

Wait a minute... Roy Orbison is singing falsetto? On all songs or just some songs? Don't have too much by the man, but I don't hear a falsetto.
