This is the third time this year that I've gotten sick. It starts out with a sore throat, then on to full blown congestion and couching for like two weeks. I have never been sick so much in a year.

I've decided to stay home and rest up. The most important week of the year is coming up at work and I can't afford to be sick, or to get anyone else sick. Plus the Cap'N and I are playing a private gig on Sat.

Son of a bitch! Can't I go four months without having to worry about this shit?

Yeah, it sucks getting sick, especially in the Summer. Take care of yourself, Mr. Rhodes.

Hope you feel bettter soon. Also, it might be worth a doctor's visit just to make certain that there's nothing else wrong with you being that you're getting sick often.

Jeez, alou- I hear ya! I'm just now getting over something I had for 3 weeks. It ran the gamut from fever to headaches to aches to coughing to buckets of phlegm. The worst shit ever. I went to the Dr., and he said it was a "cold." WTF?? I got tested for West Nile and it came back neg. I wish I had had the foresight to be tested for about 8,000 other things. :cry:

I consider myself to be in fairly good shape, but this really kicked my ass.

Get better soon. Hope this is the end of the sickness for bofus.

Do you take vitamins?

fp

Y'all have dat sentence.

Seriously, you stop smoking and partying as much and you get sick; your body is frightened at being treated so well....

Also, you and your gf were in a very strange dream that I had last night....Weird.

No but this has just prompted me to start. After starting this thread I drank 4 tbsp of NyQuil and took dat 4 hour nap. Now I get up, and except for the medicine head, I feel pretty good. No sore throat, no nothing. I just keep falling in and and out of sleep cause of the "nector".

Maybe it was the good vibes from here.

Maybe not.

Vitamins = DAT SCAM.

Quit being such a pussy and get your ass to work...Seriously. I think in the past ten years I have been sick 4 times that weren't alcohol related.
