Not familiar with 'em, but I'm all for going to see bands during the week.

You should add "I'm desperate for live music in Richmond" to the poll. At least you get to see DFA1979 in a few weeks.

Saw 'em at the Empty Bottle in Chicago a few years ago, opening for Ted Leo - one of the sloppiest and most annoying live acts I've ever seen. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Seriously, they were worse than most high school bands. Their music just might kill you.

oh man, don't do this to me! heartbreakingly insipid or violently mediocre i could avoid, but how am i supposed to avoid a band described alternately as "pretty good" and "so bad that it might kill you"? i don't have the fortitude to resist that! although for some reason it's working pretty well for National Treasure, but that's another story.

That's a little too last minute for me (the phone call I'd have to make letting my wife know that she's gotta watch the kids all by herself this evening could prove, ummm, difficult).

Damn, I'd like to see them too (although I don't like their latest nearly as much as I did All Your Summer Songs)
