i really don't get it. what happened to these guys? it's like they've decided that european funk bands really get that bland neo-soul sound that southern california really requires and then topped it off with the steve vai-esque level of pointless flourish in the lyrics. i used to like these guys a lot 10 years ago.

yeah it's kinda depressing. the one song i've heard (and you know my feelings on tha lifesavas) was lacklustre at best. Are the poets of Rhythm on this one? that might actually be a redeeming quality...

i don't know if they're on it or not, kind of sounds like they might be. i think that the move to epitaph is having some unintended shit-inducing qualities.

contradiction said that this album was pretty good, but everything else has said it's absolute trash. Maybe I'll download it, but I probably won't buy it without hearing anything due to the universal hate.

Gab's flow still gives it some redeeming qualities, that's why i like it.
