I decided to try and make some single-disc (74 min., not 80) "best of" mixes for some of my favorite artists who have enough releases under their belt to make such an endeavor worthwhile. I started with My Morning Jacket, which was a challenge on two fronts, because they have so many songs I like, and their songs tend to run pretty long.

Man, it was HARD. I wanted to try and grab something from every single one of their releases, but it turns out that I couldn't manage to squeeze anything in from Does Xmas Fiasco Style or the split with Songs: Ohia. There are quite a few GLARING omissions, but I really like the finished product:

10. "Tyrone" (from Ch. 2: Learning - Early Recordings)
11. "Bermuda Highway" (from Acoustic Citsuoca)
12. "Gideon" (from Z)
13. "I Think I'm Going To Hell" (from Okonokos)
14. "Steam Engine" (from It Still Moves)
