[img][295:500]http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b33/mcaputo/colin.jpg[/img] I figured it was about time XTC's bassist and secondary singer/songwriter Colin Moulding received some props. His bass playing, a cross between Paul McCartney and James Jamerson and his way of turning a vocal melody were key components in the evolution of the band over the course of 25+ years. In November 2006, Partridge told the press that Moulding no longer had any interest in writing, performing or even listening to music. Partridge said he would not continue XTC without Moulding, and therefore has been forced to regard XTC "in the past tense." 01. Vanishing Girl - Psonic Psunspot 02. Grass - Skylarking 03. Once again, thank you. Back in the day, XTC could do no wrong. |

Damn. Colin retiring from music is one hell of a loss. And I agree with Andy that XTC with no Colin is no XTC. Thanks for the mix (again), Mark! |

Bumping this, because I am listening to Nonsuch, and am once again reminded of how Colin was overlooked for the more-prolific Andy. But, damn, he wrote some of my favorite XTC songs. Also, I am DLing this one (again, for my new computer). Thanks, Caputo! |
