A mix made for a fellow Obner. It is purely random but I was trying to put artists on it that he wasn't familiar with (though I suspect he will know a number of these artists). I had it finished up at around 16 songs and then saw it was just over 45 minutes and thought why not make it just under 74 minutes (which I think it is about 70ish) to fit on a cd-r. So my good flowing mix of 16 songs became an awkward mix of 22 songs (well, hopefully it is better than I think after final tweaking).

Here is a link to the zip file of mp3s:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/1d2e37

Here is the track list:

Never Was Better Than How It Was

01 Kelley Stoltz – Birdie’s Singing
02 Mazarin – At 12 to 6
03 The Spinto Band – Direct to Helmet
04 Sparrow – Mountain on Mountain
05 Chappaquiddick Skyline – Courage Up
06 The M’s – Shawnee Dupree
07 Thou – Kid’s Do Ride
08 The Changes – Such a Scene
09 The Minders – Comfortably Tucked Up Inside
10 Sondre Lerche – No One’s Gonna Come
11 Luke Temple – Someone Somewhere
12 The Kingsbury Manx – And What Fallout!
13 The Lovekevins – Blame the English
14 Cotton Mather – Homefront Cameo
15 Ane Brun – Song No. 6
16 Fruit Bats – The Earthquake of ‘73
17 Radar Bros. - Papillion
18 Lilys - Radiotricity
19 The Essex Green – Don’t Know Why (You Stay)
20 Quasi – The Poisoned Well
21 Bill Ricchini – Like an X-Ray
22 The Faraway Places - Refrain

Here is a stolen, I mean appropriated image for cover art (if you are so inclined and don't mind cropping it):

Ooh, the only person on there who I'm really familiar with is Sondre Lerche and I don't know that song.

I recognize a lot of the other names but aren't familiar with them.
