Funny. Dirk Hamilton is from my hometown (Stockton, CA), I believe (or he's lived here, on & off for years). I've got a few of his albums- had him sign them. I even auditioned for his band, on drums, but I wasn't good enough. If you look at his first disc, you'll see what kind of musicians he's used to playing with.

He plays around here every now & then, but he's huge in Italy, I think.

I think that's "Meet Me At The Crux" - and yeah, Dirk always had a good band behind him. Always was a little too weird to make it as a typical 70s singer/songwriter though. Glad to hear he's still out there.
