So chow, I hijacked your thread from the beginning and for that I am sorry.

Besides knowing paper (call me), what else would you like us to know? Do you have a favorite disc this year?

Author:  chowgurt [ Tue Nov 01, 2005 3:10 am ]
Post subject:

No, not really. I've really been trying to expand what I listen to and thought this would be a great way to do it. Plus fromm what I've seen it's a pretty friendly crowd.

Paper has been turning me on to some stuff. I've been trying to find some new music to listen to and he's been really cool about it. But those Wayne Newton ones aren't so hot.

No, Whittier.

Actually, as a teen it's a great place to be from and grow up in. Sucks to be there now. Too much Disney, Ent Industry BS to deal with.

I was gonna say Whittier first, dammit. (I don't live far from there.)

You in PAS?

Eat a double double for me willya? WITH grilled onions!
About five years ago I lived in Sierra Madre.

I was at Rio Hondo the first time I heard Los Lobos.

Not far from Pas either, closer to Monrovia. One of the other Obnerians lives in Arcadia, neighbour of Sierra Madre.

It's been years since I've had a double-double. I'm more of a cheeseburger, extra pickles gal myself. However, next time I have one, I'll eat it in your honour. ;)

Xtra pickles? MY kind of gal!

My daughet was born in Arcadia Methodist. Right next to the track.
Closer to Monrovia? In Duarte? What's that great Italian deli in Arcadia? Ever been there?

It's next to the windmill Denny's on the corner of Huntington and Santa Anita.
The name of it is Claro's

Claro's Italian Market
19 1/2 E Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91006
Category: Delis

It's the old fashioned kind where they slice the meat and cheese the right way and right now for you. REALLY good capicola and proscuitto!

How long have you been in LALA Land?
